I <br /> <br />.j <br />'. , <br /> <br />Task 2 - Collect and Review Data <br />The first activity of the MKE project team shall be to search for and complete <br />a list of all available data on the Comanche Dam, Peterson Dam and Twin Lakes <br />Dam. A thorough revi ew shall be made of that data' i ncl udi ng exami nati on of <br />construction drawings, maintenance records, special investigation reports, and <br />other existing data on file in the City's and the State Engineer's records. <br />This information shall be supplemented with broader regional information such <br />as geological mapping, streamflow records, National Atmospheric and Oceanic <br />Administration publications, and other published material. This task shall <br />include site visits by the technical personnel assigned to work on this <br />Contract. An expanded checklist simi'-ar in nature to that used- in Phase I <br />inspection investigations by the State Engineer shall be employed to assure <br />the comprehensiveness of the site inspections. Survey confirmation measure- <br />ments and a photographic record shall also be an important part of these <br />i nspecti ons. <br /> <br />The activities of this taslc shall be carried out as early as possible after <br />receiving notice to proceed. <br /> <br />Task 3 - Chapter I, General ,Information <br />General information regarding each Project shall be gathered by the MKE <br />project team, from available records on file at the City, State Engineer's <br />Office and at al1Y other location. From this information, Project maps shall <br />be prepared. Each Project map shall be a topographic map that illustrates the <br />proposed Project and shows the location of the basic existing and proposed <br />Project features with respect to source of water supply, counties and nearest <br />towns and cities including Greeley. In addition, climatic information shall <br />be gathered and presented as part of this taslc, to include average monthly <br />temperatures, maximum and minimum temperatures of record, length of frost free <br />periods, average monthly precipitation,. and information regarding wind, hail <br />or al1Y other damaging climatological factors representative of the project <br />area and Greeley. The General Information shall include reports by any <br />interested agencies such as the U.S. Forest Service or Water Conservation <br />Districts regarding the three dams. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
