.

.

Task 4 . Field Trip

We will conduct a field investigation of the ditch, stream system, and irrigated lands, This
field trip will be used to become familiar with the stream system, ditch and irrigation systems.

Task 5 - Return Flow Timing

Return flow timing will be evaluated using the Glover method, and subsurface information
derived from local well logs. The return flow timing is used as an input to the historical
depletion analysis.

Task 6 - Depletion Analysis

The depletion analysis will be used to estimate monthly stream depletions based on modeling
of historical irrigation practices of the subject water rights. Information developed in
previous tasks will be used as inputs to the depletion analysis. Results will be used to assist
in development of proposed terms and conditions for the transfer.

Task 7 . Map

A map of the area will be developed to assist in the transfer proceedings and development of
terms and conditions,

Task 8 - Stream Conditions

Stream conditions for wet, dry and average type water years will be characterized based on
streamflow data, call records, climate data, and diversion records. This information will be I
used in the development of terms and conditions,

Task 9 - Terms and Conditions

We will develop proposed terms and conditions based on prior tasks and input from the
CWCB stafi; whereby the subject water rights may be transferred to instream uses without
injuring other water rights.

Task 10 - Meetings

We have budgeted for 2 - two hour meetings with CWCB staff and legal counsel to discuss
our engineering work at appropriate stages of completion.

Task 11 - Report

Our :final work product would be in the form of an engineering report that summarizes our
analyses and findings.

.....,~<:,'~~".~. :
