<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Discussions with ditch company leadership and shareholders will <br />be held either at meetings or over the telephone to exchange <br />ideas, Any meetings with study area participants will either be <br />held in Denver or as an addenda to other meetings in the study <br />area, Boyle will develop a brief summary memorandum <br />describing the concepts deemed to be most practicable through <br />consensus of the group, <br /> <br />Some examples of potential water marketing mechanisms might <br />include: <br /> <br />o A water leasing meeting at the beginning of the <br />season to make long term arrangements, <br /> <br />o Daily telephone water brokering by ditch company <br />personnel for partial season leasing arrangements, <br /> <br />o Water for lease messages on the ditch company <br />phone message system for long term or partial <br />season arrangements, <br /> <br />o Water for lease or water wanted bulletins at a <br />central location or in a newsletter for long term or <br />partial season arrangements, <br /> <br />o Periodic water leasing over the course of the <br />irrigation season for partial season arrangements, <br /> <br />Concepts for potential water marketing mechanisms will be <br />developed through interaction of Boyle, the CWCB, the ditch <br />companies, and other involved parties, but the details and the <br />implementation of any particular mechanism is the responsibility <br />of the ditch companies, <br /> <br />Products: <br /> <br />A brief summary memorandum of potential water marketing <br />mechanism concepts discussed and deemed most practicable by <br />the group, <br /> <br />4) MONITOR OPERATIONS <br /> <br />Puroose: <br /> <br />Observe system operations, receive input from the ditch <br />companies, and compile revisions made in the operating plan, <br /> <br />Boyle personnel will make two trips to the study area over the <br />course of the 1990 irrigation season to observe the actual <br />operations of the sytem, Input from ditch company operations <br />personnel and other study area participants will be received, <br />Modifications to the operating plan made over the course of the <br />irrigation season to accomodate variations from forecasted <br />conditions will be discussed with ditch company personnel. <br /> <br />Methods: <br /> <br />5 <br />
