<br />~ <br />l , <br />"j <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />E12.9 Ooeration Studies - Operation studies of the alternatives defined in subtasks E7.1 - E7.8, <br /> <br />except E73, will be performed for the period of 1951 to 1983 using a monthly time step. The <br /> <br />80% reliable, full-season water supply yield, as defined in the Interim Report, associated with <br /> <br />each alternative will be determined through systematic variation of water demands and <br /> <br />iterative application of the simulation model. The difference in reliable water supply yield <br /> <br />produced by each alternative above the reliable yield possible through optimized operations of <br /> <br />existing facilities will be the increased yield associated with the project alternative. <br /> <br />E1210 Develoo Preliminarv Desims - Preliminary designs of the additional project elements defmed <br /> <br />in subtask E12.1 will be developed. The preliminary designs developed will be very <br /> <br />approximate and will be used exclusively for making preliminary quantity and cost estimates. <br /> <br />No engineering drawings of these facilities will be developed. <br /> <br />E12.11 Screenim, Review - For the alternatives to be investigated at a screening level of detail as <br /> <br />identified in subtask E7.9 and E7.10, information from the reports of previous investigations <br /> <br />and available mapping will be reviewed. The maximum revision effort of existing information <br /> <br />anticipated for this subtask is the updating of costs to April 1988 for comparability with other <br /> <br />alternatives. Cost update will be accomplished in subtask E13.5. The alternatives will be <br /> <br />summarized in the Final Phase I Report. CWCB will be informed if apparent issues are <br /> <br />discovered that would warrant additional analysis. If directed by CWCB Boyle will prepare a <br /> <br />scope and budget covering the additional work effort for CWCB review and direction. <br /> <br />E1212 Summarv of Previous Investil!ations - A concise summary review of previous project <br /> <br />development investigations performed for the study area by the Bureau of Reclamation in <br /> <br />1966 and 1982 and by Western Engineers, Inc. in 1985 will be developed as defmed in subtask <br /> <br />32 <br />
