<br />Products: <br /> <br />~) <br /> <br />~) <br /> <br />Summary report of borings and associated testing by Chen-Northern; <br />test results of borrow investi9ation samples by the BOR and borrow <br />investigation summary by Boyle, <br /> <br />12) SITE SURVEY OF LILYLANDS RESERVOIR AND ROUTE SURVEY OF INTAKE <br />CANAL <br /> <br />Puroose: <br /> <br />Methods: <br /> <br />Products: <br /> <br />Provide better topographic information of Lilylands Reservoir and intake <br />canal route, <br /> <br />The BOR will survey the reservoir basin, embankment area and intake <br />canal route of the Lilylands Reservoir and develop contour maps at 5-foot <br />contour intervals and a l' = 100' sca'e, The mapping will not be tied to a <br />standard horizontal coordinate system, but will use USGS datum, Maps <br />provided will be 'pencil manuscripts', rather than professionally drafted <br />documents, <br /> <br />Mapping of the intake canal route will include the existing alignment and <br />the area up to fifty feet higher in elevation than the existing alignment. <br /> <br />Boyle will use the maps to de,velop area'capacity relationships for the <br />proposed reservoir, quantity estimates of the proposed enlarged <br />embankment and corresponding canal alignment(s) and cost <br />estimate(s), <br /> <br />Contour maps and area,capacity relationships of Ulylands reservoir and <br />route map of intake canal. <br /> <br />13) INTAKE CANAL SIZING <br /> <br />Purpose: <br /> <br />Methods: <br /> <br />Products: <br /> <br />Investigate the effect of intake capacity on diversions to the reservoir, <br /> <br />Monthly flow volumes will be used to investigate the capture efficiency of <br />three ditch sizes. Ditches of '75,. 100" and 125,CFS capacity will be <br />investigated, The 1951.1983 period of study will be used to perform the <br />evaluation, Based on this information, a single canal capacity will be <br />selected for use in subsequent cll1alyses, <br /> <br />A curve of average annual yie'd (AF !YR) versus canal size (CFS) , the <br />canal capacity to be used in subsequent analyses, and the reservoir <br />inflows estimated for this capacity, <br /> <br />8 <br />
