hill from the downstream slope.

The toe key and bench and toe

It is the owner's and the owner's representatives

responsibility to read this report and become familiar with the

recommendations and suggestions presented.

We should be con-

tacted if any questions arise concerning the geotechnical aspects

of this project as a result of the illformation presented in

this report.

This report presents both suggestions and recommendations.

The suggestions are ideal construction conditions and are

presented so that the owner and the owner's representatives

may weigh the cost to risk or benefit for the suggested pro-

cedures.

This geotechnical engineering report is based on the proposed

site development and the proposed fill material as provided to

us by Mr. Leroy Black, Ute Engineering and Surveying, Inc.

Our

scope of services did not include a site visit to observe the

site conditions or a field investigation to obtain subsurface

information.

Lambert and Associates does not intend that the

owner or the owner's representatives should interpret that a

field study of the existing dam embankment was conducted by us.
