We do not address any deficiencies that may exist in the

existing embankment.

This report and analysis assumes that the

existing dam embankment has no existing deficiencies other than

a .need for a flatter downstrea~ slope.

The reason for tlle

flatter downstream slope is not known to us.

If the downstream

slope exhibits stability problems, the stability problems may

be deep seated and would reduce the stability of the ~roposed

fill.

We represent that our services were performed within the

limits prescribed by you and with the usual thoroughness and

competence of the current accepted practice of the geotechnical

engineering profession in the area.
