SCOPE AND NATURE OF ENGINEERING SERVICES

In order to more accurately define our scope of
services, the information to be provided for each
chapter (as described on pages 18 through 27 of the CWCB
Guidelines) is outlined below:

1.

Prefacino Material.
Guidelines.)

(As required by the

2.

Chaoter L ~ General Information. This will include
a brief description of the overall project,
including information on location, climate, history
of dam construction and repairs, operational
procedures, and similar information. It will also
include preparation of a project map, which will
show location of the dam and the ~roject area to be
served.

3, Chaoter Ll ~ Descriotion Qt Raoid Creek Reservoir
Comoanv.* This will include: a) a history of the
organization, b) the laws under which it is
organized, c) description of the powers and
authorities of the organization, d) financial
status, including a financial statement from the two
most recent years, and e) a description of physical
assets owned by the Reservoir Company.

* The term 'Reservoir Company' is used to apply to
the previous and present reservoir owners.

4. Chaoter IlL ~ Land. The Rapid Creek Reservoir
system presently serves existing irrigated landi
therefore, a specific land classification will not
be undertaken.

A Service Area map will be-prepared showing the land
which is irrigated by -water from Rapid Creek
Reservoir Company. If the information can be
obtained, we will tabulate the net acreage and
agriculture use by crop, and where possible, will
show existing yields. It is assumed that, no
expansion of the irrigated area is contemplated.

5. ChaDter LY ~ Water. This Chapter is intended to
summarize the existing water requirements for the
irrigated area in relationship to the existing water
supply. Water requirements are dependent upon
consumptive use, irrigation efficiency, and water
losses in the conveyance system. Consumptive use
can be calculated from existing theoretical SCS
3
