<br />~ <br /> <br />~. <br />. <br /> <br />Status reports will be made orally to the State not less <br />than every two weeks. Written ~eports will be furnished to the <br />State every four weeks. <br /> <br />Task 2 - Meetings <br /> <br />The Contractos shall participate in five'one-day <br />meetings of the advisors for the study, said advisors to be <br />selected by the State. The Contractor shall prepare such <br />materials for such meetings as the State may require. Meetings <br />also will be required with various governmental agencies for <br />information and data collection purposes. Finally, the <br />Contractor shall meet with the State as required to discuss <br />study-related matters and to present findings on project <br />alternatives to the State staff. <br /> <br />Task 3 - Compilation and Review of Existing Data <br /> <br />The Contractor shall compile and review existing data, <br />to include data for: <br /> <br />a. Existing Structures - Available drawings, photographs, <br />history, and reports on existing highways and railroads; <br />and highway and municipal facilities currently under <br />construction. <br /> <br />b. Topography - Exising project mapping, U.S. Geological <br />Survey (USGS) mapping, highway mapping, aerial <br />photographs, and any other available topography. <br /> <br />c. Hydrology - Existing project hydrologic records, <br />including appropriate USGS gaging station records <br />(monthly and daily flows), and diversion data. <br /> <br />d. Meteorology - Includes precipitation, temperature, <br />evaporation and wind velocity in the general project <br />area. <br /> <br />e. Subsurface Conditions - Available explorations, geologic <br />mapping, reports, aerial photographs, and seismicity <br />data, principally from U.S. Bureau fo Reclamation <br />(USSR). <br /> <br />f. Construction Materials - Available geologic mapping and <br />records of any borings, samples and testing results <br />(USBR). <br /> <br />g. Water Rights - Tabulation of decreed water rights <br />published by the State Engineer's Office. <br /> <br />h. Power Data - Estimated costs of regional power purchases <br />and sales. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
