..-

.

.

Item 9 - Pumping plants are
serving them. No changes
anticipated to be done.

already in place as is the water in canals
are anticipated; therefore, no work is

Item 10 - Inapplicable

Item 11 - Inapplicable

Item 12 - Preliminary analysis will be done,
determine type, capacity and pressure ratings
devices required to abate water hammer.

of sufficient depth to
of pipe and protection

Item 13 - Tabulation of sources of supply of materials will be done by
Western from data supplied by the Company

Item 14 - Inapplicable

d. Structure plans - Western will provide drawings necessary to identify
structures that are to be rehabilitated/constructed in the feasibility
report as outlined in Items 1 and 2.

e. Drainage - The drainage system in the service area has been well
established by years of prior use and no construction or additional
changes in use are anticipated to modify the drainage; therefore, no
studies of drainage will be done.

f. Sedimentation - The Company, as it presently operates, handles the
sedimentation problem through its O&M program. It is anticipated that
the sedimentation that occurs will continue to be handled in a like
manner and no rehabilitation will affect the sedimentation.

g. Right-of-Way - Rehabilitation plans anticipate using the Company's
current deeded and dedicated right-of-ways and no additional right-of-
way is anticipated to be needed. Where a canal reroute by siphon is
proposed across Limekiln Gulch, additional right-of-way will be
required, which would require right-of-way surveys, plats, negotiation
and purchase. The Company would be required to secure such right-of-
ways. Such right-of-way would be identified in the feasibility report
for purchase prior to construction. Engineering work would only
identify the rights-of-way need during the feasibility study.

Chapter VI - Construction Cost Estimate

a. Cost estimates of rehabilitation/construction will be prepared by
Western for each phase in accordance with the Guidelines of CWCB.

b. Delineation of annual fund requirements will be made by Western in
cooperation with the Company.

c. O,M&R Costs - Since the rehabilitation plans will not affect operation
costs, these will be equal "with" or "without" the project.
Maintenance costs will be estimated based on replacements being made
under the "with" project basis. The future "without project" basis
will also be estimated by Western. Development of OM&R costs will
follow the Guidelines, in connection with the Company's current O,M&R
costs.

-5-
