Land Use <br /> <br />1) Present from data supplied by Company tabulation of <br />distribution of land uses will be done by Western, Since crops <br />change, no tabulation by crops will be included nor will crop <br />yields be tabulated. <br /> <br />2) Projected Future - Western will provide for projections of future <br />land use, and continuing conversion of agricultural lands to <br />suburban uses. Consideration may be given that irrigation water <br />service to the service area will not be enlarged by present <br />system; but that additional independent facilities will be needed <br />to serve the area. <br /> <br />d. Land Ownership - Data on land ownership will be tabulated by Western <br />from data provided by the Company. <br /> <br />Chapter IV - Water <br /> <br />a. Water requirements will be tabulated by Western from records of prior <br />deliveries by the Company for the entire service area. <br /> <br />b. Surface water supply - Western will tabulate the stream flow available <br />in the Gunnison River and power canal at nearest USGS gage to <br />demonstrate the adequacy of the supply available. The Company may <br />provide statements as to the priority between power production and <br />irrigation uses in event of a shortage. <br /> <br />c. Ground water supply - The Company does not secure water from wells in <br />the area and no accounting of ground water will be made by Western. <br /> <br />d. Western will tabulate water rights and historic yield that has been <br />availab Ie. <br /> <br />e. <br /> <br />Water utilization - Since the project is for rehabilitation, <br />future water utilization will be the same as historic. Western <br />tabulate the historic irrigation diversions that have been made <br />Company-supplied data. <br /> <br />the <br />will <br />from <br /> <br />f. Water quality - With concurrence of the Company, a statement will be <br />made that the water has been used for irrigation purposes since <br />inception and has not proved detrimental to plant growth; and that <br />only direct flow from stream are involved. Physical plan - The structures of the irrigation system will be <br />analyzed for continued service at present capacity.
