<br />.' <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />less often than once each quarter, written reports fully describing the <br /> <br />progress and cost of work performed by the Contractor or for which costs <br /> <br />have been incurred or funds obligated by the Contractor pursuant to this <br /> <br />contract to the end of the preceding month or other period designated by the <br /> <br /> <br />Contracting Officer. Upon completion of the work program, the -Contractor <br /> <br /> <br />shall furnish copies of "as built" drawings of all major structures to the <br /> <br /> <br />extent requested by the Contracting Officer. <br /> <br />(b) Any and all work undertaken by the Contractor pursuant to this <br /> <br />contract shall be open and subject to inspection by the Contracting Officer <br />or his designated representative at all times during the progress thereof and <br /> <br /> <br />on completion. Should it be determined that any such work is not being per- <br /> <br /> <br />formed or has not been completed in accordance with applicable schedules, <br /> <br /> <br />plans, and specificatio~s, and otherwise in accordance with the terms and <br /> <br />provisions of this contract, the Contractor shall be given written notice <br /> <br /> <br />thereof within a reasonable time after inspection, No work undertaken by the <br /> <br /> <br />Contractor hereunder shall be deemed to be completed until the same shall <br /> <br /> <br />have been approved by the Contracting Officer. <br /> <br />(c) The Contractor may utilize in, connection with the performance <br /> <br />of work under this contract such independent expert, consulting, or super- <br /> <br />visory services as it may deem necessary, and the reasonable cost of such <br /> <br />services shall be considered a part of the cost of the work performed. <br /> <br />COSTS OF THE UNITED STATES <br /> <br />6. All costs heretofore or hereafter incurred by the United States <br /> <br />for surveys, investigations, negotiations with contractors, and in its per- <br /> <br />formance or administration of this contract, including but not limited to <br /> <br />the cost or proportionate part of the cost of salaries, travel, per diem, <br /> <br />leave of employees, and overhead and general expense of the United States, <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />Articles 5 and 6 <br />
