<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Exhibit I - Scope of Services <br />Metropolitan Water Supply Investigation <br /> <br />November 17, 1993 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Mark Palumbo (HRS) will work with Pat Mulhern regarding the nontributary <br />groundwater conjunctive use evaluation. He will review various Denver Basin aquifer <br />recharge studies, including those carried out by Willow Water District, Centennial Water & <br />Sanitation District, the Denver Water Board and others. The development of the groundwater <br />portions of the Conjunctive Use study will be his responsibility, He will participate in <br />meetings with current and existing groundwater users and in project scoping meetings with <br />CWCB personnel. <br /> <br />Jeffrey Foster (HRS) is the author of the Beebe Draw MODFLOW groundwater model. <br />His primary involvement in this project will be evaluating the recent recharge conducted by <br />FRICO and running the model under various Beebe Draw groundwater and storage yield <br />scenarios. He has also run the ground water model used by Thornton in the Northern <br />Colorado water supply project. This same aquifer may be used for storage by Northern <br />Colorado Water Conservancy District. Mr. Foster will review and evaluate this part of the <br />Southern Water Supply Project~ <br /> <br />Eric Seanger (HRS) in his role as hydrogeologist will perform analyses related to the <br />Conjunctive Use of Nontributary Groundwater and Beebe Draw Project. He will assist <br />Messrs, Palumbo and Foster in the development and interpretation of data. <br /> <br />Frank Weber (HRS), Computer Database Specialist/Technician, will work on all HRS <br />involvement where technician work is required, He will also assist Jeff Foster with any model <br />runs which are carried out and will be involved with any required computer-produced figures, <br />exhibits, and visuals. <br /> <br />Patrick Mulhern (Mulhern MRE) will have a major role in the Conjunctive Use special <br />studies and will work with Mark Palumbo ofHRS. Mr. Mulhern will build upon his pfevious <br />wOfk for Arapahoe County and will focus on the facilities, service area, and <br />groundwater/surface water interaction aspects of the conjunctive use investigations. He will <br />participate in meetings with current and existing groundwater users and in project scoping <br />meetings with CWCB personnel. <br /> <br />Brent Spronk (SWE) will assist in the scoping and refinement of the Barr Lake aspects <br />of the Project work plan, the yield and operations analysis related to the Barr Lake Plan, and <br />analysis of water quality data. He will also serve in a review capacity of the description of <br />Barr Lake system operations. <br /> <br />Dale Book (SWE) will assist in the data summarization for the Barr Lake System and <br />drafting technical memoranda and relevant portions of the report. <br /> <br />Doug Clements (SWE) will assist with analysis and interpretation of the records and <br />various agreements associated with the Barr Lake System. <br /> <br />Greg Sullivan (SWE) will assist with the compilation and analysis of data for the Barr <br />Lake System. <br /> <br />Skip Kerr (ECI) will participate in the initial project scoping; the establishment of <br />facility planning, costing, and financial criteria; and the overall QA/QC for the <br />facilities/financial analysis. <br /> <br />Curt Thompson (ECI) will lead the efforts for the facilitieslfinancial analysis, including <br />facility locations, cost estimates and economic analysis. <br />
