<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Exhibit I - Scope of Services <br />Metropolitan Water Supply Investigation <br /> <br />November 17, t993 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Organizational Structure of the Project Team <br /> <br />Hydrosphere will act as the prime contractor and managing consultant and will have <br />primary responsibilities in the major focus areas of Scoping, Modeling and Opportunities <br />Evaluation, Hydrosphere will also oversee the Information Development focus area and will <br />take a primary role in the Information/Tools Inventory and Northern Special Studies tasks. <br /> <br />HRS will work on the major groundwater aspects of the Project. These aspects include <br />the alluvial groundwater components of the Barr Lake Special Studies and the Denver Basin <br />aquifer aspects of the Conjunctive Use Special Studies focusing on Arapahoe and Douglas <br />Counties. <br /> <br />Spronk Water Engineers (SWE) will be primarily involved in the Barr Lake Special <br />Studies and will provide assistance in certain portions of Yield/Operations Analysis and Project <br />report preparation, SWE will develop a description and data for the Barr Lake system to be <br />incorporated into the evaluation of the Barr Lake Plan. <br /> <br />Mulhern MRE will be primarily involved in conjunctive use investigations and will <br />assist in yield/operations analysis and Project report preparation, <br /> <br />ECI will determine the sizing and aligl1ll1ent of facilities for each of the selected water <br />supply options and will prepare reconnaissance level cost estimates and financial analyses. <br /> <br />Roles of Individuals <br /> <br />Lee Rozaklis (Hydrosphere) will be the Project Manager and will review all aspects of <br />the Project's development. Me. Rozaklis will take a lead role in Project scoping, existing <br />information/tool inventory, Northern special studies, yield/operations analysis, institutional <br />analysis and preparation of the Project Report. <br /> <br />Robert Weaver (Hydrosphefe) will assist with overall Project management and <br />coordination and will have a major role in Project Scoping, impact assessment, institutional <br />analysis and Project report preparation. <br /> <br />Brad Udall (Hydrosphere) will be the lead person in the Project's modeling focus area. <br />He will have major involvement in information/tool inventory, model specification and <br />development and in yield/operations analysis. <br /> <br />Jim Bfannon (Hydrosphere) will have a primary role in overall data collection and <br />analysis, and will assist in Northern special studies, the modeling focus afea and <br />yield/operations analysis, <br /> <br />Ed Afmbruster (Hydrosphere) will have a primary role in impact assessment, and will <br />assist in Northern special studies, modeling activities and overall data collection and analysis, <br /> <br />Charles Brendecke (Hydrosphere) will act as the Project's quality assurance and control <br />specialist and will work with the Project Manager and Management Team in these areas. <br /> <br />Robert Tafelski (HRS) will be the principal in charge of the HRS work, Additionally, <br />he will be the task manager for the analysis of the Beebe Draw alluvial aquifer and ground <br />water components of the Southern project. He will also he involved in various scoping <br />meetings and meetings with the advisory committee. <br />
