Employee Wage Committee. <br />a. Membership_ The President shall appoint up to four <br />officers or members of the Board of Directors of the <br />District to serve on the Employee Wage Committee. In <br />addition, the President shall be an ex-officio member of <br />the Employee Wage Committee, and shall have equal standing <br />and authority with the appointed members of the Committee. <br />At its first meetinq, the Committee shall elect one of its <br />members Chairman of the Committee, and the Chairman shall <br />appoint one of the Committee's members to make and keep <br />minutes of sll meetings of the Committee. <br />b. Duties and Powers. The Employee Wage Committee shall work <br />with the Manager of the District to establish <br />recommendations to the full Board of Directors; on matters <br />relating to the salaries and wages of the District's <br />employees. The Employee Wage Committee shall also work <br />with the Manager on establishing, reviewing, and tevising <br />personnel and employment policies of the District, and <br />shall make any necessary recommendations with respect to <br />the establishments or revision of such policies to the full <br />Board of Directors. <br /> <br />~:. <br /> <br />....~.r;.~ ..:....- <br /> <br />Section 5. Retirement Committee (Employees). <br />a. Membership. The president shall appoint up to fou'r <br />officers or members of the Board of Directors of the <br />District to serve on the Retirement Committee (Employees.) <br />In addition, the President shall be an ex-officio member of <br />the Committee, and shall have equal standing and authority <br />with the appointed members of the Committee.
