.~

. RESOLUTION, Stagecoach Reservoir Project H.B. 7158 Application
Page 2
Payment of Funds - a portion of the H.B. 1158 funds for this project
should be withheld for at least a two year period in order to do an evaluation
on compliance with the following:
H) The District will manage livestock grazing on the 672 acre big
game area as required, but proposes to do it without using fencing.
In case fencing should become necessary, 840,000 of mitigation
funding should be withheld until the end of the evaluation period.
8) The District will provide approximately 17 acres of additional
wetlands mitigation. Therefore 817,000 of State mitigation funding
should be withheld until the District produces a contract for
purchase of approximately 17 acres of wetlands. At that time the
money can be released.
C) The District request Federal agencies to amend the Stagecoach
Reservoir mitigation plan by adtling mitigation compliance
stipulations #1-#5, above, to that plan.
D) The Colorado Water Conservation Board withhold some payment of
H.B. 1158 funds, exclusive of A, and B, above, for a period of time
during which an evaluation can be done to determine whether the
District has complied with the mitigation requirements on Federal
permits; and therefore, should receive the remainder of the
mitigation funding.
~~
SIC~IED: `~~ ~ _
DATED: ~ ~ ~ ~ ~~
