The modeled flows at historic gaging locations
will be compared with historic flows for a selected
period during the study period. The irrigation consumption
and return flow patterns will be altered and the model
re-operated until the modeled flows reasonably reflect
the historic flows. This process, known as calibration,
is required for the credibility of the model to be
establ i shed.
The cal ibration process will be documented and a comparison
of modeled vs. historic flows will be tabulated and
graphically portrayed.

2.

Work Product: A
storab1 e flows.
and comparisons
prepared.

ca1 ibrated model for the determination of
The ca1 ibration process will be described
of the cal ibrated and model ed flows wi 11 be

1 7

Leonard Rice Gonsulllng Waler Engineers, Inc.
