I.

.

.

.

item B, the cost of this water and quantity of water available via these

.

agencies will be tabulated.

2. Tabulation of annual summary of monthly surface water operation studies.

I

A tabulation study will be conducted utilizing 1954 as a base year showing

the daily demand, source of water for this demand, relationship between

I
~
\
.
~
~
~
I
~
\
~
I
~
I
I
i
~
\
I
i
,

I
"I
J
-,
~

junior and senior water rights, and the requirement for storage to supplement

these rights. This demand will be projected for a population of 50,000

people based on the existing water use patterns of the municipalities.

Since limited data is available concerning transmissability of underground

aquifers, only general references will be made to the aforementioned

aquifer's ability to sustain wells at a stipulated pumping rate.
3. Quantitative analysis of water developed.

Salvaged water per se will not be a viable source of water in this project.

However, those waters whose consumptive use has been transferred out of another

basin, i.e., South Boulder Creek, can be used to augment the waters used in

this project. This augmentation plan will be set forth.

E. Water Quality

I. Chemical and physical characteristics of water supply and effluent.

Twenty water quality tests will be taken on South Boulder Creek, Coal

Creek, Marshall Reservoir, Baseline Reservoir, and Panama Reservoir No.

for comparative presentations.

5
