Storage reservoir, special requirements for selective withdrawal, etc.

.

Following the tabulation of all of the data presented in the foregoing cost

analysis, plans will be evolved based on the utilization of Marshall

.

Reservoir, Baseline Reservoir, Panama Reservoir, and the proposed Coal

Creek Reservoir site pertaining to the ability of these reservoirs to serve

I

as a source of water for the Coal Creek municipalities. The analysis will

I
~
I
~

include the general enlargement potential, the general cost associated with

purchasing or constructing these reservoirs, establ ishing filter treatment

plants adjacent to these reservoirs, and constructing transmission lines

from these reservoirs to the various municipalities. From this information,

general costs can be derived for comparing the suitability of use of each

of these reservoirs as a supply of water for Coal Creek municipalities.

A large portion of this work has been completed and was presented in the

Coal Creek Dam and Reservoir Feasibil ity Study, Phase I. This data will

be updated, correlated with the water quality tests taken at each of the

sites and related back to e~ch of the municipalities' ability to pay for the

~
\
I
I
~
I
I
I
I
I
~
I

purchase of these projects with revenue bonds, general obligation bonds,

tap fees, water rates, and possible water sales to other agencies.

6
