Not to conduct blasting operations within 100 feet of the <br />state's water line without prior notification and approval of the state. <br /> <br />e. To notify the state 48 hours prior to construction at the <br /> <br />=ossings. <br /> <br />f. To pay, either directly or through its contractors, all costs <br />resulting from relcx::ating, sleeving, or otherwise protecting the states water <br />line as required at the =ossing lcx::ations shown in Exhibit A. <br /> <br />g. To maintain a minimum '!Wo and Five Tenths (2.5) feet clearance <br />when =ossing over or under the state's water line. When the State's water <br />line is exposed, the water line will be bedded with hand-corrpacted select <br />material. <br /> <br />h. To design and construct the cathodic protection and monitoring <br />system for the canal and appurtenant structures so as to prevent damage to the <br />state's pipeline. <br /> <br />2. The state agrees: <br /> <br />a. To grant to the United states a perpetual right to construct, <br /> <br /> <br />reconstruct, operate and maintain said canal, and appurtenant structures on, <br /> <br /> <br />over or under the state's rights-of-way at the lcx::ations shown on Exhibits A <br /> <br /> <br />and B. <br /> <br />b. To be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the <br />state's water line upon said rights-of-way. <br />
