c. Adobe Creek and Horse Creek Re,servoirs -- Development of
area-capacity relationships for these reservoirs from survey
data obtained by separate contract to allow FLCC to utilize
its storage water more efficiently, and investigation of
dredging between ponds to incre'lse the volume of water that
can be released for beneficial use.

2. Determining the feasibility of rehabilitation and improvements to
features on the Fort Lyon Canal consisting of:

a. Fort Lyon Canal flume across Horse Creek -- Rehabilitation of
the 10-foot diameter steel pipe flume across Horse Creek;

b. Lateral headgates and measuring flumes -:- Repairs or replace-
ment of lateral headgates and me,asuring flumes for each lateral;

c. Miscellaneous control structures -- Repairs or replacements to
numerous waste ways, wasteway ~Iates, sluice gates, check
structures and other control structures;

d. Water measurement structures -- Addition of water measurement
structures and/or rated control se,ctions for measuring and record-
ing flows into the five divisions .)f the Fort Lyon Canal;

e. Canal lining and canal embankment stabilization -- Lining of
selected segments of the Fort Lyon Canal to reduce seepage
losses for improved water management;

f. Thurston Reservoir -- Constructic," of a pumping station and about
1,300 feet of pipeline to connect this water source to the Fort
Lyon Canal;

g. Control basin -- Dredging of sediment or the raising of the embank-
ment around the basin to increas,~ its capacity;

h. Lateral lining or buried pipe latE,rals -- Lining selected sections
of laterals or replacing open laterals with buried pipe to improve
the system's overall operating efficiency.
