The rsport will contain the description of <br />each plan and the comparisons orl key decision criteria. The criteria <br />will be constructio~ cost~ oper~ation cost, ability of the District to <br />repay, water treatment r~quit~ed, poteYltial fot~ unfOrSeeYI prOblems, <br />institutlondl problems ~e.g. purchasing watet' rights and permits <br />required), ~bility to supply wa'ter in th~ near and long terM~ etc. <br />The interim report will array the crlte~~ia so that the District Board <br />can evalllate the alternatives along with the CWCB staff to decide on <br />which one I~r tWI~ plans best meet the needs. <br />The report will be a working document Which will use maps and <br />charts, sufficient to show the important aspects of each plan. It 15 <br />expected that qlte~tiorrS will 2t~ise dllring the decision making periOd <br />which will requir'2 additional i~formation that will be produced and <br />included in the report. Twenty copies of the report will be made. <br />'J"he report will be about 3~ to 35 pages long, will be prepared and <br />distributed to the District and the CWCB fot~ ttleir consideration. <br />rhe report will include J~arris Water Engineering's reCOMmendations <br />for the best planes). The report will not finalized l\ntil aftet~ the <br />final decisions have been nlade. <br />The engineer's reCOMMendations will be provided pl~imarily for <br />discussion pll~~pOSES because the District, with assistance from th~ <br />ewes, will maJ(s the final selection of the best planes). An <br />estimated four meetings with the District Board, ~ngineer and ewes <br />staff in Durango is included in this item so that the issues can be <br />thl~ro'Jghly discussed and a decision nlade. At the conclusion of this <br />item the best plan or plans will be identified. The final decisions <br />will be desct'ibed and the interim report will be finalized for <br />attachment to the Feasibility Report as an app2rldix.
