The appraisal design would pe based llpon general critieria for constt~uction of a dam. . Existing f~eset~voir - There is an existing, privately owned reservoir near the Disty~ict. General discussions have been held with the reservoir o~ner to provide water but to date ~he cost has appeared to be excessive. Further discussions will be h~ld to identlfy the cost so that it can be compared to tile othet~ plans. A pipeline frOM the reservoir to the District has been installed bllt the condition and size of the line is l~nknown. ~ rolated alternative to takin~ water directly frOM the reserVoir, would be to install a collection galle~~y below the dam i~ the stream bed.
