Water is not metered and an exact figure as to total monthly

usage is not available. Similarly in this respect, no accurate

gaging of the water via gaging stations, Parshall flumes, etc.,

have been conducted. Therefore, there exists no approximate

figures as to peak use, total use by month or even use during

certain periods of time. As noted previously, with the over usage

of water in periods of cold weather and irrigation during the summer

(lawns, gardens, etc.), the usage of water can be'assumed to be high.

Adding to this is the tremendous line loss. In viewing the usage

problems compounding one another, even metered results would not be

indicative of actual use.
