Town Ordinance

2.3 Tap Fees. No water or sewer services shall be furnished
to any owner or occupant of real property or any building
until all charges and fees provided for in this Ordinance
shall have been paid to the Town, including the following
tap fees:

For tap sizes larger than one-half inch (~") special
application shall be made to the Town Board which shall
determine the short and the long term effect upon the
Town's water systems and shall charge a fee which, in the
discretion and judgment of the Board, shall reflect all
such considerations and the reasonab1~vajue to such ,owner
or occupant making application.

2.4 Outside Tap Fees. Owners or occupants of real property
outside the territorial limits of the Town desiring the
privilege of tapping to and utilizing the Town's water
and/or sewer system shall make special application to the
Board which shall have sole authority in their discretion
as to whether or not to allow such outside use, and upon
what conditions, terms, fees and charges. In no event
shall the tap fee for owners and occupants of real prop-
erty pursuant to this paragraph be less than 1~ times the
amount of the tap fee for property located within the
territorial limits of the Town.

Section 4 - Rates and Charges

I

4.1 Service Rates. A water service charge and a sewer service
charge is hereby levied and assessed for water and sewer
service at the following rates, which charges, rates are
hereby found, determined and declared by the Board of
Trustees of the Town of Ridgway, to be equitable and just.
The owner of any property or buildings for which water and
sewer service are provided shall be responsible for the
rates, fees, and charges contained in this Ordinance as
follows:
