Calculation sheets for these estimates are given in Appendix D <br />under "Option 2 - Quantity Estimates." A sunrnary of the estimated quantities <br />is shown in Table 3. <br /> <br />Unit Cost Estimates - Unit cost estimates were made for each of the bid <br />items described in Section V.l.l. These estimates are given in Appendix D <br />under "Option 2 - Unit Cost Estimates." The unit cost estimates were derived <br />from several sources including Means Site Work Cost Data 1985 Edition, <br />contractors with recent construction experience with similar projects, <br />construction contract bonding agents, fabricators and material suppliers, and <br />the Portland Cement Association. All unit prices were escalated to reflect <br />1987 costs. Projected price increases for 1988 construction are described in <br />Section V.1.5. <br />
