The soil is sandy clay underlain <br />with shale. No ground water is expected during construc- <br />tion. <br /> <br />D. Easements and Permits <br />. <br /> <br />All work proposed under Phase I will be constructed in <br />public right-of-ways and no easements or permits are anti- <br />cipated at this time. Phase II work will require a permit <br />to work in State Highways No. 96 and-209. <br /> <br />The project work will require reVlew and approval of the <br />State Health Department as well as any funding agencies <br />offering financial assistance to the project. <br /> <br />5. COST ESTIMATES <br />A separate cost estimate was prepared for Phase I and Phase <br />II construction. This was in anticipation of availability <br />of funds for this fiscal year. Included in the Phase I <br />construction are the costs for the repairs to the collection <br />reservoir and the costs of completing the telemetering equip- <br />ment and gas chlorination equipment. <br /> <br />6. FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS <br />As previouSly mentioned, the present population of the commu- <br />nity is rather low and the total number of taps served is <br />only 163. In addition, the present monthly service charge <br />for water is: <br />~ $5.00/month minimum for 0-3000 gallons <br />$0.80/1000 gallons over 3000 gallons <br />$100.00 water tap fee <br /> <br />-8- <br />
