. . As mentioned in our meeting last month, Layne would like to view this project as a teaming arrangement. To this end, Layne would provide the following services/materials without charging for them: -Drilling and core bits -24 hours of standby time for educational and other Museum requested standby time -Preconstruct ion meeting with the field supervisor from our Chandler, AZ office who has the most experience with coring projects of this depth to discuss project specific requirements and a representative from Christensen Products (Salt Lake City, UT) to discuss methods and equipment to enhance core recovery In return for these items, Layne would like to be named as a major contributor towards the completion of this project. Layne is uniquely qualified to perform this work for the following reasons: -No other contractor has the variety of drilling experience Layne has in drilling through Denver Basin aquifers -Previous continuous coring through the same aquifer materials was completed by a Layne division Layne would propose completing the work for the following prices: Coring HQ core, lump sum ..............................$110,250.00 PQ core, lump sum ..............................$168,350.00 Water sampling, per sample ......................$ 3,500.00 PVC core storage HQ core, lump sum ..............................$ 10,950.00 PQ core, lump sum ..............................$ 13,500.00 (Core storage to be completed as follows: core wrapped in clear plastic (ie Saran wrap), placed in half round pvc pipe and then placed inside another pvc pipe) If you should have questions regarding the enclosed information, please feel free to contact our office.
