<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />CHAPTER I - GENERAL <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />This Feasibility was prepared for The North Poudre Irrigation Com- <br />pany's Reservoir No. 15 Dam for the purpose of investigation the <br />current estimated construction items and costs to rehabilitate <br />this facility to meet current safety standards and allow the Own- <br />ers to maximize the utilization of the Reservoir. <br /> <br />Ibe North Poudre Irrigation Company wishes to pursue an application <br />with the Colorado Water Conservation Board for financial assistance <br />for the Design and Construction of this project. This Feasibility <br />was prepared to define the estimated costs, determine the repayments <br />required and to answer the requirements of the Colorado Water Con- <br />servation Board for the Application for Assistance. <br /> <br />Reservoir No. 15 is an agricultural irrigation storage <br />owned and used by The North Pouure Irrigation Company. <br />location within the system at the upper reaches, waters <br /> <br />facility <br />Due to the <br />out of <br /> <br />Reservoir No. 15 can be used to reach approximately 75% of the <br />Stockholders within the system. <br /> <br />The North Poudre Irrigation Company has made the surface rights <br />available to a private club for use as a recreation facility. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />The reservoir stores approximately 5,560 acre-feet at the decreed <br />high waterline of gage rod 42.2 feet. State Engineer's Office has <br />placed an official restriction on this reservoir to gage rod 40.0 <br />feet. <br /> <br />The original embankment was constructed in 1909. The upstream <br />portion of the outlet works was reconstructed between 1948 and <br />1950. No other major repairs have ever been completed. <br /> <br />The Reservoir lies at the upper end of The North Poudre Irrigation <br />Con~any's System~ making storage at tllis location valuable to the <br />Owner's. They wish to pursue a reconstruction project to enable <br /> <br />I <br />
