Current State Engineer's
restrictions allow storage to 40.0. If repairs are not completed,
future additional restrictions may be applied.

In order to rehabilitate this facility to allow full filling and
maintain a safe structure, it is necessary to complete repairs as
follows:

1. Replace or repair the outlet works.

2. Construct a cutoff trench to shale to reduce seepage and/or
construct toe drains.

3. Repair the upstream face by removing existing riprap, placing
fill material to a suitable slope, and placing new riprap and
and riprap filter material.

4. Cutting the backs lope to a safer slope.

5. Constructing a concrete cutoff and pan in the spillway.

The estimated cost of the entire project is $2,602,440.00. The
North Poudre Irrigation Company would like to borrow 50% of this
or $1,301,220.00 from the Colorado Water Conservation Board at
5% interest for 40 years.

The North Poudre Irrigation Company can finance their 50% con-
tributions by maintaining the existing level of assessment for
dn aJdi t:ional 5 years. The repayment of the Colorado Water
Conservation Board loan can be accomplished out of the assessments
at the rate of $8.00 per share or 8% of the current assessment.
