<br />Mr. Frank Akers, P.E., Chief <br />November 9, 1992 <br />Paqe Two <br /> <br />vote was taken on October 20, 1992, by the City Council approving <br />Ordinance No. 87 and is hereby incorporated and attached. This <br />ordinance formally approves the intergovernmental agreement for <br />the city to enter into a contract with the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board on the Hourglass Dam Project. <br /> <br />The city of Greeley has the authority to enter into this contract <br />without a vote of its resident~, as this contract comes within <br />the "water supply exception" of the Colorado Constitution, art. <br />XI, SS 1 and 6. <br /> <br />There are no provisions in the Greeley Code or Charter or any <br />other state or local law that prevents this contract from binding <br />Greeley.
