' <br /> <br />5. <br />6. <br />7. <br />8. <br /> <br />Task 5 . FInal Design - Final design will begin only after selection and approval by the City of a single <br />Improvement alternative. At this time, Final Design will begin. Additional review meetings will be held <br />with the City Staff at 50 peccent and 90 percent completion. These meetings will review drawings and <br />design concepts and will allow the opportUnity for adjustments to meet City needs and resolve technical <br />questions. <br /> <br />In addition to in-house Staff and City review, TEe will provide quality control to check completed <br />Contract Documents prior to construction. These checks ensure that the Project Team's total expertise <br />andeXperieli.ce has been utilized on the project and will reduce the possibility of omissions and errors that <br />could preSent problems during construction. Our in-house review takes place concurrently with the City's <br />fma1t~ie\v/~prior to printing the Contract Documents for advertisement. TEC shall prepare a final design report that describes in detail the <br />methodology used in formulating the final design for Hourglass Dam and appurtenant structures. The <br />designrepon shall contain all background information, calculations, and other required documentation <br />necessary to allow a thorough review of project plans and specifications by the City, the Colorado State <br />Engineer's Office, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, and the United States Forest Service. <br /> <br />Task; - Agency Submittal and Review. Following a review of the final design documents by the City <br />and the Colorado Water Conservation Board and at the direction of the City, TEC shall submit the <br />construction plans, technical specifications, and other required documentation to the Colorado State <br />Engineer's Office for review and approval. The submittal shall be done in strict accordance with the <br />rules and regulations of the Colorado State Engineer's Office. Three packets containing the same <br />documents and information submitted to the Colorado State Engineer's Office shall be forwarded to the <br />City. ,One of the final design documents shall be forwarded by the City to the CoJoradq Water <br /> <br />'--' <br />
