c

-'

hydrology, hydraulics, water rights evaluation, project formulation, preliminary
designs of facilities, and appraisal-level construction cost estimates. Estimates of
benefits, economic and financial analyses are not a part of this work.
We contemplate that much of the basic data acquisition and the field
investigations will be accomplished simultaneously for both Steps One and Two.
Therefore, Step One of the study as outlined in the RFP will not be entirely
completed before Step Two of the study is initiated.
Since the requested effort is to be a "limited feasibility study", our approach
will be to use existing valid data to the maximum extent possible. Where
applicable, data and results contained in these reports from previous studies will be
utilized:

a.
