<br />We believe the objectives of the study can be accomplished using the <br />available basic data. Our work plan does not include any new data generation <br />efforts which would require substantial commitments of either time or expense, <br />such as installation of stream or diversion gauging stations, geologic foundation <br />drilling or seismic testing. <br />The study will be made for a 27 -year period of water years 1958 to 198/;. <br />This period <7ontains both. the extreme low (1977) and high (J 983) years of record in <br />the study basins, the lowest 3-year drought (1976-1978), and the lowest IO-year <br />drought (l959-1968).lI. <br /> <br />Section 3: The Work Schedule <br /> <br />Figure II-I depicts the planned schedule for the study. The work schedule <br />shown is based on the contract starting date for the study of August 15, 1985. <br />During the last two weeks of August, the scope of work for the study was discussed <br />and refined with the CWCB staff.
