I <br />II <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />II <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />II <br />I <br />II <br /> <br />Task 4 - Site Geologic and Construction Materials Evaluation - Rock <br />Creek <br />The objective of this task was to determine the structural geologic <br />features and lithology of the area and determine the availability and <br />suitability of local construction materials. The work consisted of <br />geologic mapping, seismic refraction, subsurface drilling, obtaining <br />materials samples and trial RCC mix designs. <br /> <br />Task 5 - Access Roads and Relocation <br />Alignment of access roads required for each alternative project were <br />developed. Basic plans were formulated for relocation or modification <br />of roads, power1ines and other facilities existing within the proposed <br />reservoir areas. <br /> <br />Task 6 - Formulate Rock Creek Plan and Prepare Cost Estimates <br />A definite project plan was developed from the results of previous <br />tasks. The dam axis, type and height were selected, a preliminary <br />project design was developed, drawings were prepared and a feasibility <br />level cost estimate was made. <br /> <br />Task 7 - Site Characteristics - Muddy Creek Site C <br />This task was similar to Task 3 except Muddy Creek Site C alternative <br />was studied. <br /> <br />Task 8 - Site Geologic and Construction Materials Evaluation - Muddy <br />Creek Site C <br />This task was similar to Task 4 except Muddy Creek Site C was evaluated. <br /> <br />Task 9 - Plan Formulation and Cost Estimate - Muddy Creek Site C <br />This task was similar to Task 7 except plans and estimates were devel- <br />oped for Muddy Creek Site C. <br /> <br />Task 10 - General Evaluation - Muddy Creek Site A <br />This task was subsequently deleted and is not covered by this report. <br /> <br />1 - 2 7062W/5020W <br />
