As part of this e!fort, COM would use a typical quantity
of water that would be available from an acre of agricultural land.

Cost Estimates

Cost estimates will include:

1. Acquisitional costs. The ac,ual cost of acqulrlng additional water
and/or the costs related to site development such as land
acquisition and road relocation that are required for project
implementation but not directly related to the actual
implementation.

2. Design, construction, and engineering costs. Costs will be
identified for each of tbe following: feasibility studies,
preliminary design studies, final design engineering, environmental
impact statements, environmental assessments, and construction.

3. Operational Costs. An assessment of the annual operational repair/
replacement costs will be made.

All cost estimates will be based on 1987 equivalent dollars.
Backup data related to the development of individual costs will be
provided in the report.

TASK DELlVERABLES:

A narrative will
describing each Plan
graph of yield and
each.

be prepared for the report
Element; a summary table or
cost will also be prepared for

3-12
