The work includes drilling up to 240 iineal feet of probe holes to <br />assess rock conditions, furnishing and installing approximately 18 steel sets with all associated spiling, lagging, <br />clamps, foot blocks, tie rods, and excavating approximately 200 yards' of rock rubble, boulders, and treated <br />timbers. The rock materials will be hauled to the eastern portal and placed on the existing muck piie. The <br />timbers will be hauled to the lower staging area and stockpiled for removal to storage by others. <br /> <br />WESTERN TUNNEL <br /> <br />1.13 TEMPORARY RAIL WEST <br /> <br />Furnish all equipment, labor, and materials required to install approximately 3,000 lineal feet of temporary rail <br />extending from Station 83 +06 to Station 113 +06. The work includes all ties, rails, temporary blocking, and <br />shims necessary for a complete installation. <br /> <br />1.14 BRACE SQUARE TIM8ER SECTIONS INTERIM SUPPORT <br /> <br />Furnish all equipment, labor, and materials to brace approximately 89 lineal feet of existing square timber' <br />support with internal steel sets. The work will include furnishing and instailing approximately 23 steel sets with <br />associated channel steel, bolts, and other hardware. The work is in two sections as follows: <br /> <br />Station 83 + 34 to 83 + 86 <br />Station 95 + 16 to 95 + 53 <br /> <br />1.15 8 RACE TiMBER BARREL SECTION INTERIM SUPPORT <br /> <br />Furnish all equipment, labor, and materials to brace approximately 50 lineal feet of existing timber barrel lined <br />tunnel with channel steei from approximately Station 82... B4 to 83 + 34. The work includes furnishing and <br />installing approximately 11 circular channel steel sets with associated boits, anchor bolts, and other hardware. <br /> <br />1.16 REMINE DECAYED TIMBER SECTION AND INSTALL INTERIM STEEL RIB SUPPORT <br /> <br />Furnish all equipment, labor, and materials to remove existing timber support and remine 37 lineal feet of tunnel <br />from approximately Station 96 + 89 to Station 97 + 26. The work includes drilling up to 150 lineal feet of probe <br />holes to assess rock conditions, providing and installing approximately eight steel ribs with all required spiling, <br />lagging, cribbing, clamps, foot blocks, tie rods, and all accessories. <br /> <br />PHASE 2 WORK <br /> <br />EASTERN TUNNEL <br /> <br />I <br />I: <br /> <br />1.17 STEEL PIPE LINER <br /> <br />Furnish ail equipment, labor, and materials to install approximately 281 lineal feet of 5.3' internal diameter steel <br />pipe final iiner.
