The proposed treatment by the package
treatment plant followed by disinfection will destroy bacteria in
these ranges and produce a potable water which meets the required
quality standards without any unusual requirements.

WATER TREATMENT

Because of the high variability of turbidity and suspended solids
throughout the year, the raw water supply for the South Rifle Divi-
sion diverted directly from the Colorado River should be treated by
conventional means.
