The peak day and peak hour combined demands are equivalent to flow
rates of 1.45 cfs and 2.68 cfs, respectively.

The population values shown in Table IV-2 are projections of the
number of residents living within the South Rifle Division area out-
lined on the Project Map, The projections are based on historical
census data for Garfield County and the Town of Rifle published by
the U. S. Census Bureaull, population estimates by the State of
Co10rad~ and the Colorado West Area Council of Governments~, and
information from the Garfield County Planning Department and the City
of Rif1e11re1ated to current plans for development of the South Rifle
area. The Rifle Comprehensive Framework Plan is the only demographic
