At this meeting~ Mr. <br />Walker was advised of increase in cost of feasibility to a <br />total of $197600. Mr. Walker agreed there would be no <br />problem in amending the contract to increase the feasibility <br />cost to $197600. The feasibility cost breakdown is: <br /> <br />UTE <br />SRK <br />AUDIT <br /> <br />$14.500 <br />4~OOO <br />1,100 <br /> <br />Total <br /> <br />$19,600 <br /> <br />15. On July 217 19887 revised payback schedules were submitted <br />to CWCB_ <br /> <br />16. During August and September7 furnished the Land Bank with <br />required data~ reports7 payback schedules and other re- <br />quested information. <br /> <br />17. On September 197 19887 sent copy of memo dated August 207 <br />1988 to ewcs to remind them of the project. <br /> <br />18_ On September 20, 1988. the Land Bank advised Fruitland that <br />the interest rate had increased from 8 3/4% to 9 3/4%. <br /> <br />19. October 277 19887 CWCS wrote a letter to Fruitland with <br />items of work to be completed prior to finalizing the loan <br />contract. <br /> <br />20. November 23, 1988 CWeB informed UTE that E and 0 Insurance <br />would be required. This is the first time insurance has <br />been mentioned during this project. The project was started <br />in 1986_ <br /> <br />21. December 207 19887 Fruitland received a letter from eWCB <br />comparing 50/50 loan and 100% ewes loan. <br /> <br />We have prepared many different reports, payback schedules and <br />other scenarios in an effort to comply with cwes and State En- <br />gineer requirements. Also, we have incurred substantial cost in <br />pursuing other funding sources such as the Wichita Land Bank. <br /> <br />4 <br />
