<br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br />FEBRUARY 21, 1989 <br /> <br />7. A meeting was held with eweB in Grand Junction, Hr. Nick <br />Ioannides was present. The supplement to the report was <br />discussed. Revisions were requested. eweB also requested <br />that all further information be submitted by the irrigation <br />company as it was no longer necessary to proceed under the <br />umbrella of the District. The date of the meeting was March <br />11, 1988. <br /> <br />8. On March 26, 1988, revisions to the supplement to the <br />feasibility study was submitted to eweB. This revision, <br />based on the March 11, 1988 meeting showed a revised project <br />cost of $234,000 all funds from CWCB. <br /> <br />9. During April, 1988 Fruitland Irrigation Company contacted <br />local banks regarding private loans. Letters of rejection <br />were sent to eweB. <br /> <br />10. During the month of May, 1988, David Walker of CWCB became <br />involved in this project_ Duplicate copies of many submit- <br />tals were sent to him. On May 11, 1988, Fruitland submitted <br />a letter to Mr. Walker requesting a $300~000 loan at 5% for <br />40 years_ <br /> <br />On May 17, 1988, Fruitland submitted a second letter to Mr_ <br />Walker explaining that it would be too expensive to borrow <br />50% of the required funds from private sources_ <br /> <br />II. June 16, 1988 Fruitland met with CWCB in Crawford_ We <br />received a copy of Senate Bill 30 and directed UTE Engineer- <br />ing to prepare several new payback schedules_ These <br />schedules will supplement those prepared in March and April_ <br /> <br />12. On July 12, 1988, Fruitland applied to the Wichita Land Bank <br />for funding of one-half of the project cost_ <br /> <br />13. On July 20~ 1988, re-submitted feasibility report, payback <br />schedules, letter, etc. to CWCB_ CWCB claimed they had not <br />received documents previously_ <br /> <br />3 <br />
