Larimer County, Colorado-- <br />Bureau of Sport Fisheries and Wi Idl ife report <br /> <br />This memorandum is our Bureau's report on the potential enlarge- <br />ment of Lon9 Draw Reservoir on La Poudre Pass Creek in Larimer <br />County, Colorado. It is provided under the'authority of and in <br />accordance with the Fish and Wi Idlife Coordination Act (48 Stat. <br />401, as amended; 16 U.S,C. 661 et seq.). <br /> <br />.:,~ . <br /> <br />Fish and wildlife aspects of the project have been planned co- <br />operatively with The Water Supply and Storage Company through its <br />engineering consultants, Wright-McLaughlin Engineers, the Colorado <br />Department of Game, Fish and Parks, and the Forest Service. Con- <br />currence in the report by the Colorado Game, Fish and Parks Com- <br />mission is indicated by the enclosed copy of a letter dated <br />April 9. 1968, signed by Colorado Department Director Harry R. <br />Woodward. <br /> <br />The Water Supply and Storage Company of Fort Collins, Colorado, <br />is planning the project under the Small Reclamation Projects Act <br />of 1956, as amended. . The primary purpose of the project is to <br />provide a more reliable supply of irrigation water. for the land <br />served by the Company. This report summarizes the effects of the <br />project on fish and wildlife, discusses the measures to be in- <br />corporated to make fish and wildlife conservation a project purpose, <br />and provides an estimate of benefits attributable to those <br />meas u res. <br /> <br />The Water Supply and Storage Company was organized to distribute <br />water to about 37,425 acres of irrigated land in the vicinity of <br />
