The report
discusses enlargement of Long Draw Reservoir and modifications to Grand
River Canal.

We would offer the following comments:

>.....-.,-

c'"

1. It is suggested that your repayment contract be
written to clearly indicate that water quality
standards established for interstate and intrastate
waters will be complied with.

2. Construction operations should be carried out to
minimize temporary adverse effects on water quality
in Long Draw Creek and Cache la Poudre River.

3. Borrow and/or spoil areas should be shaped and
dressed to minimize adverse effects on water
quality subsequent to construction.

We appreciate the opportunity to review the report and provide the above
conunents.

Very truly yours,

~~II~

GARRYL.
