4B. "Project RRR"
At the first community meeting it was suggested by the School District Superintendent that
a program be designed to accommodate two things. 1) Teaching the school children their
"three R's", while 2) involving them in Project Impact activities. The district is very excited
in being a partner with this initiative. The activities have yet to be developed. Suggestions
have been made, but a decision on which ones would be more beneficial to the students
has not occurred.

4a. Background
The public information section project also serves as support for master planning. It takes
precise planning to create the type of information services preferred here. It is the
perpetual effort in making the whole project a success. As mentioned above, a network
for information dissemination has not existed in the past. A successful, effective
information program would alleviate panic, bring people together and darn a community
support center available for emergency crisis.

4b. Project Description
The development of a plan to provide and maintain an information network that clearly
defines a course of action to better educate the community.

4c. Benefits
This network would raise the level of awareness as a whole community and offers the
gratification of helping others in time of need. Benefit ratio of $2,000 to the many hours
of volunteers devoting expertise for the betterment of a community. (In example: $20 an
hr. x 10 hours a month x 8 people on the committee equals $19,200.)
