Solid Waste Center Floodplain Analysis and Site Development Design, Boulder,
Colorado, Project Engineer/Manager for a solid waste recycling tmnsfer station and
supporting facilities at the confluence area of South Boulder Creel< and Boulder Creek,
Development of the 17 acre site was partly controlled by extremely complex flooding
characteristics of three confluent streams, spatially varied flow of Boulder Creek and
roadway hydraulic constrictions. Completed hydraulic calculations for floodplain and
flood way definition which met both city and county requirements, site grading in
compatibility with the flooding analysis, design of on-site drainage features, permitting
assistance, water and sanitary sewer utilities design, preparation of plans and
specifications and construction observation,

. Colorado Springs Country Club Regional Flood Control, Cololrado Springs,
Colorado. Project Manager, Responsible for a regional flood control system
consisting of a complex arrangement of detention ponds in series and one, half mile of
42"0 and 48"0 connecting/outfall storm sewers. Unique features included special
proportional flow outlet structures, aesthetic/functional overflow structures and site
grading to accommodate continued use of the area as a golf course,

· Boulder Library Water Quantity and Quality Control, Boulder, Colorado. Civil
project engineer/manager member of the architect's project team lor drainage, flooding
and surface water quality control associated with Boulder's public library expansion,
The key issue of the library's horizontal and vertical siting was its proximity to Boulder
