<br />TABLE 9 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Approximate Information for Stream Reaches Currently Within the Town of Breckenridge <br />but Mistakenly Shown as Being in Summit County Which is Consistent With Approximate <br />Information Previously Prepared for Summit County and Designated by Resolution No. 167 <br /> <br />The Blue River from the northern corporate limit of the Town of Breckenridge, <br />approximately 1400 feet upstream of the crossing of Colorado Highway 9 upstream to the <br />northwestern corporate limit ofthe Town of Breckenridge, approximately 3800 feet upstream <br />of the crossing of Colorado Highway 9, as those limits were on November 2, 1994, <br /> <br />The Blue River from the northwestern corporate limit of the Town of Breckenridge, <br />approximately 4000 feet upstream of the crossing of Colorado Highway 9, upstream to the <br />northwestern corporate limit of the Town of Breckenridge approximately 5000 feet upstream <br />of that crossing, as those limits were on November 2, 1994, <br /> <br />The Blue River from the corporate limit of the Town of Breckenridge approximately 900 feet <br />upstream of the crossing of County Road 3, oear the estimated confluence with Barton Gulch <br />upstream to the corporate limit of the Town of Breckenridge, as it was in June 1980, <br />approximately 1500 feet upstream of the confluence with French Gulch, as those limits were <br />on November 2, 1994, <br /> <br />South Barton Gulch from its estimated confluence with Middle Barton Gulch upstream <br />approximately 600 feet, <br /> <br />Middle Barton Gulch from its estimated confluence with the Blue River upstream to its <br />estimated confluence with South Barton Gulch, <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Sawmill Gulch, and <br /> <br />lIIinois Gulch; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Summit County, Colorado, has requested the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board to designate and approve the floodplains set forth in the aforesaid <br />new report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-1 06( 1)( c), Colorado Revised Statutes, requires the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board to assist in the prevention of floods and flood damages therefrom; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sections 31-23-301 and 30-28-111, Colorado Revised Statutes, provide that <br />legislative bodies of local jurisdictions may provide zoning regulations for land uses on or along any <br />storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only after designation and approval by the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, directs the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board to designate and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins and to make <br />such designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />8 <br />
