<br />, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />,. <br /> <br />7,5' USGS quadrangle map or better, showing to the NEPA review agencies where the Fort <br />Collins Floodproofing Program will be implemented; the Contractor shall, as appropriate, <br />prepare photographs and site descriptions of individual sites within the Fort Collins <br />Floodproofing Program, to illustrate to the NEPA review agencies the individual sites that will <br />be impacted by the Floodproofing Program; and the Contractor shall assemble and mail to the <br />NEP A review agencies the request letters signed by the Colorado Water Conservation Board, the <br />Floodproofing Program description, the project map and any photographs and site descriptions, <br />If any NEPA review agency letters are received before February 1, 1998, the Contractor shall <br />assist the Colorado Water Conservation Board and the City of Fort Collins in evaluating the <br />responses and recommending appropriate actions, <br /> <br />Task 10- Work Schedule <br />The Contractor shall, in coordination with the City of Fort Collins, prepare a summary report of <br />the schedule for the Mitigation Report detailing the timetable and key schedule milestones for <br />the City of Fort Collins Floodproofing Program should the City receive Hazard Mitigation Grant <br />Program funding from FEMA for the Floodproofing Program; the Contractor shall, in <br />coordination with the City of Fort Collins, prepare schedule review forms to be used for <br />quarterly tracking of the Floodproofing Program, <br /> <br />Task Assir:nments Under Contract to the City of Fort Collins <br />Specific portions of Tasks 4,5,6,9, 10, 12, 13, 14 and 16 for the Contractor to complete under <br />contract to the City of Fort Collins are outlined below, <br /> <br />Task 4 - Proposed (Alternative) Solutions: <br />The Contractor shall develop supporting information for at least 3 alternative plans to address <br />floodproofmg needs within the City of Fort Collins, including benefits, costs advantages and <br />shortcomings of each alternative plan, The Contractor shall develop a decision procedure for <br />selecting the preferred alternative plan and shall provide a supporting explanation for the choice <br />of the preferred alternative plan. <br /> <br />Task5-Dampwn~PropasMPr~<<~ <br />The Contractor shall prepare a description of the proposed project (preferred alternative plan) for <br />addressing the floodproofmg needs of the City of Fort Collins, In order to describe the proposed <br />project, the Contractor shall list the project objectives and state how the project will reduce or <br />eliminate the risk of future damages; the Contractor shall prepare a preliminary engineering <br />design for the project; the Contractor shall prepare a scope of work for the project, including <br />calculation of labor and materials; as applicable, the Contractor shall describe the relationship of <br />this project to a larger project; the Contractor shall describe future maintenance and operation <br />requirements to assure that the project continues to provide flood hazard mitigation benefits in <br />the future; and the Contractor shall develop a map showing the residual 100-year floodplain with <br />the proposed project in place, <br /> <br />Task 6 - Cost Estimate: <br />The Contractor shall provide a cost breakdown for the proposed project. The Contractor shall <br />provide a description of any non-FEMA funding sources for the project, with attached Letters ofhFunding Commitment from those funding sources, The Contractor shall provide a listing of <br />estimated expenditures for the proposed project including project management costs, engineering <br />costs, design costs, labor costs, costs for materials and supplies, and equipment costs, <br /> <br />5 <br />
