12. The contract is to be completed within 175 days from the Notice to Proceed.
Substantial completion is to occur within 145 days from the Notice to Proceed.
Substantial completion does not include irrigation system, however, planting,
irrigation system improvements and sod must be complete prior to May 15, 1997.

If the Add Alternate for the box culvert at Fairway Lane is awarded, the start date
for the box culvert will be approximately October I, 1996. If the Contractor
desires, he may mobilize and perform work within the CWCB right-of-way after
September I, 1996 as long as work within golf course does not start until October
I, 1996.

13. Access to project will be limited to two locations. One will be at the south side of
Dutch Creek and Fairway Lane. The other will be from the end of Driver Lane on
the existing roadway that runs in front of the old maintenance building and along
the South Platte River.

14. Stone used in the project will need to match in both color and texture to the
existing rock wall that is in place around the Number 10 tee box directly across
from the Clubhouse. This stone was supplied by Western Mobile.

15. The Fairway Lane detour is to be in place for the duration of the project and must
be useable by school buses. The configuration of the detour does not have to
match that shown on the drawings although a minimum inside radius of 26 feet is
necessary and a total driving width of 26 feet is to be provided. Prior to
construction of the detour, the detour configuration must be approved by the
Engineer.

16. The Contractor will not be held liable for the cost of repair to streets within the
Town of Columbine Valley as a result of an insufficient asphalt depth on the
existing roadways, providing that the Contractor's trucks do not exceed legal load
limitations. If existing roads are damaged and the Contractor's trucks operated
within the legal load limitations, the Contractor may be asked to repair road
damage at an agreed upon cost. Damage to existing curbs. walks, concrete pans
and other improvements will be replaced by the Contractor at no cost to the owner
regardless of truck loads.

17. Construction staking will consist of setting of a hub and guard stake on both sides
of the channel at lOO-foot intervals. Stakes will reference an offset and elevation
to top of bank and toe of slope. The top of the low flow boulder channel will also
be referenced on the golf course side (north side) of the channel only. All four
comers of structures will be staked along with wingwalls. Rock walls will be
staked at 50 foot intervals and at the end of each wall.

18. Construction staging is to occur at the confluence area of Dutch Creek and the
South Platte.

19. Excavation material can be disposed of on Lot I, Block I of Columbine Valley
provided the following conditions are met.

ADDENDUM NO.2 - July 24, 1996
Page 3
