<br />3.02 BED PREPARATION <br /> <br />A. Seed Beds <br /> <br />1. Prior to seeding, the soil shall lJe loosened by rototill ing to a <br />minimum depth of six inches, and brought to the desi red grade. <br />Fertilizer shall be applied to the seed bed areas using follio <br />diammonium phosphate (18% N" 46% P, 0% K) at the rate of 400 <br />pounds/acre. Fertilizer shall lJe applied uniformaly and tilled <br />into the top four (4) inches of soil. <br /> <br />B. Shrub Beds <br /> <br />1. The soil surface shall be 100senE.d by rototilling to a mlnlmum <br />depth of six inches. Native mountain peat shall be spread over <br />the area in a uniform three inch layer. Incorporate the mountain <br />peat into the soil by rototilling to a minimum depth of six <br />inches. Rake until ground is even enough for planting of shrubs. <br />
