Any replacement or l"elocation of reference <br />points shall be done by a surveyor 1 icensed in the State of Colorado. <br /> <br />407. INSPECTION <br /> <br />At all times, representatives of the OWnel" and representatives of other <br />agencies affected by the construction 'Nork, and the Engineer or his <br />representative shall have the right to enter and inspect any and all parts <br />of the work for compliance with the Plans and Specifications. <br /> <br />The Engineer Shall decide any and all questions which may arise as to the <br />quality and acceptability of the materials furnished, the work performed, <br />the manner of performance, and the rate of progress of the work. He shall <br />decide all questions which may arise as to the acceptable fulfillment of the <br />contract, and all disputes and mutual rights of the Contractors,if there is <br />more than one Contractor on the work. The d,ecision of the Engineer shall be <br />final, and he shall have executive authority to carry out all orders promptly. <br />The Contractor shall give adequate notice to all a<)encies performing the <br />inspection prior to the commencing of construction. <br /> <br />4.08 ELECTRIC POWER, WATER AND TELEPHONt <br /> <br />The Contractor shall provide an water, electric power and telephones <br />required for construction of the work and they shall be paid for by him. <br /> <br />409. EXISTING UTILITIES <br /> <br />The size and location of underground util ities as noted on the Plans is from <br />the best information available as establ ished from actual field observations <br />and study of existing records. These are noted for the information only and <br />are believed to be correct; however, the Contractor must take sole <br />responsibility for damage to any utility line encountered whether or not <br />located on the Plans. The Contractor shall notify the util ity companies for <br />field locations before the start of construction. <br /> <br />If the exact location and depth of existing underground uti'lities are <br />unknown. Contractor shall perform all necessary exploratory excavation to <br />locate these facilities which may affect the wor'k prior to beginning <br />construction. <br /> <br />410. MATERIALS FURNISHED BY THE OWNER <br /> <br />The Owner shall furnish no labor, no equipment, and no materials to the <br />Contractor. It is the intention of the contract to }"equire the Contractor <br />to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the complete <br />construction of the work. <br /> <br />411. STATE AND LOCAL LAWS <br /> <br />The Contractor shall conform to all applicable state and 10ca'I laws in <br />carrying out his obligations under the contract. <br /> <br />SC-2 <br />
